Diagnostic & Camera Inspection
Objective:Master diagnostic and camera inspection techniques in our course, exploring the Compact M40 Camera System, CS6x Versa Docking System, and Navitrack Scout Locator. Covering drain systems, components, inspection methods, and safety, participants gain hands-on experience in equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring proficiency in utilizing these tools for accurate assessments. By course end, participants adeptly apply diagnostic and camera inspection methodologies in various applications, maximizing efficiency and equipment longevity.

Fundamentals of Bending, Flaring, and Swaging
Objective:Students that earn the Fundamentals of Bending, Flaring, & Swaging Certification will understand the importance of safety, proper technique, the different types of copper tubing, and their specific applications in fluid systems used in Plumbing and HVAC. Additionally, students will be able to safely demonstrate these proper techniques for bending, flaring, & swaging copper tubing in fluid systems through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.

Fundamentals of Drain Cleaning
Objective:Building upon the core core competencies in the Diagnostic & Camera Inspection, students will explore foundational information on cables, including their sizes and types, as well as various attachments like augers and cutters and their specific applications. Integral to the course are essential plumbing concepts such as "Clean Out," "Vent Stack," and "P-Trap," which provide a thorough understanding of plumbing systems. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will enhance their ability to effectively diagnose and address plumbing issues in the field.

Manual and Handheld Power Threading
Objective:Students that earn the Manual and Hand-Held Power Threading certification will understand the applications of various threads used in industry. Students will demonstrate their ability to safely use manual and hand-held portable power threading equipment to cut, ream, thread and ultimately join multiple pipes together through hands-on lab activities.

Power Machine Threading
Objective:Students that earn the Advanced Power Threading certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe operation of stand mounted power threading equipment to fabricate threaded connections in plumbing pipe and electrical conduit through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom. Additionally, students that earn the Power Machine Threading certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of manual and powered roll grooving equipment to make fluid-tight connections as used in fire protection and other HVAC applications through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.
