Fundamentals of Bending, Flaring, and Swaging
Objective:Students that earn the Fundamentals of Bending, Flaring, & Swaging Certification will understand the importance of safety, proper technique, the different types of copper tubing, and their specific applications in fluid systems used in Plumbing and HVAC. Additionally, students will be able to safely demonstrate these proper techniques for bending, flaring, & swaging copper tubing in fluid systems through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.

Fundamentals of Drain Cleaning
Objective:Building upon the core core competencies in the Diagnostic & Camera Inspection, students will explore foundational information on cables, including their sizes and types, as well as various attachments like augers and cutters and their specific applications. Integral to the course are essential plumbing concepts such as "Clean Out," "Vent Stack," and "P-Trap," which provide a thorough understanding of plumbing systems. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will enhance their ability to effectively diagnose and address plumbing issues in the field.

Manual and Handheld Power Threading
Objective:Students that earn the Manual and Hand-Held Power Threading certification will understand the applications of various threads used in industry. Students will demonstrate their ability to safely use manual and hand-held portable power threading equipment to cut, ream, thread and ultimately join multiple pipes together through hands-on lab activities.

Power Machine Threading
Objective:Students that earn the Advanced Power Threading certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe operation of stand mounted power threading equipment to fabricate threaded connections in plumbing pipe and electrical conduit through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom. Additionally, students that earn the Power Machine Threading certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of manual and powered roll grooving equipment to make fluid-tight connections as used in fire protection and other HVAC applications through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.

Pressing for HVAC and Plumbing
Objective:Students that earn the Pressing for HVAC and Plumbing certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe operation of manual and battery-powered pressing tools to fabricate fluid circuit connections in copper and pex tubing through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.

Structural Sheetmetal Assembly
Objective:The successful completion of the Structural Sheetmetal Assembly Certification will allow students or the incumbent workforce, who successfully complete the program, to demonstrate a solid understanding of the tools and equipment used in sheetmetal assembly and repair. The ability to properly layout, prepare and fasten sheetmetal assemblies are a fundamental part of the aviation industry. This certification allows students to be exposed to a variety of drilling, fastening and verification methods that are needed by employers in industry today. Snap-on, Sioux, ATI, and Starrett, all leaders in aviation tooling, have come together to create a series of best practices utilizing the best tools available.

Air Conditioning Service
Objective:The successful completion of the Snap-on Air Conditioning Service Certification enables recipients of this training to demonstrate a solid understanding of the capabilities of the PolarTek® Dual AC Machine. The PolarTek® Dual AC Machine is feature rich and capable of servicing R134A and R1234YF. The skills acquired during this comprehensive training are valuable TOOLS FOR LIFE that can lead to rewarding careers in a vast array of industries in the global marketplace. Snap-on Pro-Link Edge
Objective:Students who earn the Snap-on Pro-Link Edge Certification have completed hands-on training with state-of-the-art Snap-on equipment developed for diesel repair and maintenance. The certification demonstrates that graduates have attained a solid understanding of scanner controls and operation, providing them with TOOLS FOR LIFE required to service computer-controlled diesel vehicles. Today’s diesel and heavy duty vehicles require computerized diagnostics to properly identify problems. As the leader in aftermarket diesel vehicle diagnostics, Snap-on developed a certification course that include classroom training and advanced lab exercises. A majority of technicians who use scanning equipment know only 20-30% of the tool’s capabilities. When students complete their certification, they can show employers they have valuable experience as scanner power-users.
