Objective
The purpose of this course is to build an understanding of the hydraulic system and components used on Kubota SVL equipment.
Competencies
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Kubota Track Loader Hydraulic Systems Theory and Operation.
- Identify equipment model and serial number, research applicable vehicle and service information, service precautions, service procedures, technical service bulletins, and determine needed actions.
- Identify components of the pilot system and explain their function and operation.
- Identify components of the high-pressure system and explain their function and operation.
- Identify components of the HST system and explain their function and operation.
- Identify the components of the control valve and explain their operation.
- Identify Electrical and hydraulic actuators and explain their operation.
- Utilize Kubota Diagnostic Procedures to Determine Hydraulic Failures.
- View and interpret Kubota hydraulic schematics.
- Perform Kubota hydraulic system flow and pressure test and determine needed action.
- Diagnose the cause of faulty pressure and flow tests in hydraulics circuits.
- Diagnose and repair faulty hydraulic systems.
