  • Demonstrate the proper techniques to fieldcheck an optical comparator.
  • Describe the difference between calibration and field check.
  • Determine when a calibration should be performed.
  • Application, Usage, and Maintenance :
  • Demonstrate proper setup of a component on the optical comparator table.
  • Prepare the optical comparator for measure￾ment, including software setup.
  • Measure component(s).
  • Perform required maintenance on the optical comparator, to include mirror cleaning, cleaning the screen, changing the projector lens, lubricate the slides, and latch block adjustment.
