- Calibration:
- Demonstrate the proper techniques to fieldcheck an optical comparator.
- Describe the difference between calibration and field check.
- Determine when a calibration should be performed.
- Application, Usage, and Maintenance :
- Demonstrate proper setup of a component on the optical comparator table.
- Prepare the optical comparator for measurement, including software setup.
- Measure component(s).
- Perform required maintenance on the optical comparator, to include mirror cleaning, cleaning the screen, changing the projector lens, lubricate the slides, and latch block adjustment.
